The 2007 Reunion is NOW HISTORY, we now are planning for 2008. Over 130 Cadets
attended with family and enjoyed renewing relationships and making new ones. 2007
was a historic year for PMA. We have seen the Rebirth of our school building and a PMA
Trust was formed and funded. Marland Mansion gave us a location for the founding of
the PMA Museum.  Capt. Moore and Butch Behar are working hard to get items placed
on display. We need more items and we need them now, so we can have a good showing
at the 2008 Reunion. If you have items that you would like to see on display, contact
Butch @  580-765-5088, Capt. Moore at 580-762-3212 or e-mail your information to
chayes@cox-internet.com

I want to thank each of you who have supported our entire project with your financial
help. Without it we would not be as far along in re-establishing PMA in the history of
Ponca City and Oklahoma. It is most important that we finish our project to preserve our
history for those who come after us so they can look back in history and see, what was an
important time in the lives of 5000 Cadets. As you who were at the 2007 Reunion,
know we had a long-range plan to improve on Flag Pole Park and make it a true tourist
stop for any one who is visiting Ponca City that is being supported by the Tourism
Coordinator, Mary Beth Moore, of the Chamber. Replacements in miniatures of all three
of our school buildings were dedicated by the Mayor, City Manager, Chamber of
Commerce and leading residents of Ponca City. Rex and Pat Morgan are working hard
to finish the Walls of Honor with Bricks of Cadets if you do not have your Brick in place,
please contact Rex or Pat @ 806-358-2465 also the form to order is on our PMA website
www.poncamilitaryacademy.com

It was approved at the 2007 meeting to finish our Memorial Park with a Bronze Statue of the Senior Cadet helping the Junior Cadet standing in a chair. The message is Present Yourself With Pride.  This will complete faze three in the park and make it truly a must stop for all tourist. We have secured the support of the Ponca City Newspaper, City Manager’s Office and the Chamber of Commerce Tourist Board. We have confirmed the artist to do the Statue so it will be ready for the 2008 Reunion. We have received donations to date that only leave us with a need for $60,000 to complete the project. And we need your help now so we can make our payment on time. If everyone would give $1000.00 we will reach our goal and will have something for everyone to be proud of.  Please don’t put it off. Please make your check to PMA Bronze Statue Fund- mail gift to: Janet Martin V-P of Business Department, Eastman National Bank 222 East Grand, Ponca City, OK 74601, if you want to make a commitment to do $500.00 now and $500.00 by March 2008, we will honor that also. But please, make a donation in which you are comfortable. We want everyone to be involved no matter the size of the donation.  A plaque will be placed on the base of the statue with the names of all of those who make a donation.

They may have destroyed our school building, but they cannot break the spirit of the PMA Cadet Corp. Please help restore the spirit and pride of the academy that your help established, by sending your donation today!
